I must go bury my sister's body in the garden for our annual LiveAction reenactment of the Ascent of Christ. =D
Very nice to see a cream amongst all the blacks of the presenters? Understated bead work, and hair down, but classic blond to suit her gown? Very nice.

Naomi Watts: oO What on EARTH was that? Oo Shredded toilet tissue paper with a misused waist? Ick.

Jennifer Aniston: Very safe and boring dress which I would forgive if it weren't for that necklace? =p

Rachel Weiss: Stunningly boring and simple. Was that a sports bra under that gown? You are a nom, give us something a bit more I think.

Charlize Theron: XD What the bl**dy h*ll was that outrageous thing on your shoulder? Very oddly cut dress and it didn't even fit her about the chest.

Corinne Marianne (Short Film Docu Winner): Lovely and very glamorous. (And not even a star. =p)

Sandra Bollock: As a presenter, a very nice muted shade of a blue but that train! Her award winner (John Myers?) stepped on it as she was trying to get out of the way? =p

J-Lo: Perfect. The colour, the fit, yes, just right.

Selma Hayek: A very fitting deeper blue and what Rachel should have been a bit more closer to? Very interesting bodice and shoulder but that bust fit did very odd things to her breasts. =/

Jessica Alba: Even though she slipped up on her presentation, she looked quite nice? Gold was a lovely and very glam look for her and hair up! Thank you. =p

Merle Streep: Aubergine! That neckline and no necklace to take away! Beautiful! XD

Jennifer Garner: Watch your step there love? =p Learn to walk in that fancy train if you are going to wear it in front of 100,000 million people? A cute dress but I did not care for the detail on the empire waist. The simmering stars and the general glitter on a cream was a bit too Britney for me.

Queen Latifah: Black is very safe for a presenter, and it was a very average choice. But again! With such a attractive figure, please make sure your frock fits? =p And, I expected more creative colours from this one? With your skin tone, you could do much better than black.

Uma Thurman: Perfect.

Hillary Swank: My first reaction was, my goodness, how much chest do we need? My second was, H**kerssaywhat? Hair up please.

The boys?

Will Smith looked wonderful? Russell Crowe should be told that you should shave at an event? Ludicrous, oversized diamonds on a man are as repulsive as they are on a woman unless she is about to be crowned?

XD

Poor Heath and Jake? But most of all, poor Lauren Bacall? =/ The poor dear thing became very lost and confused!

*falls over*
I am actually going to watch telly this evening. And, I cannot wait! XD

We own three televisions.

Isn't this post wonderfully exciting already? XD

Growing up, my sister's and I, only had one television and none of us were really allowed much use of it? It was very small, rather fuzzy and my father used it to watch the evening news and who scored what in whichever match and then it was promptly switched off. In fact, sometimes he only listened never ending talk news on a wireless. =p So! Having three very fancy and capable machines in the house has always been sort of remarkable to me. It is particularly slightly even more remarkable mostly because no one in this house has ever had much interest in television programmes? That, or we are just all too busy, tired, or off to do something else!

One of the three, the one in our upstairs living room/library/study/lay about room/sometimes guest room/ex-bedroom of a long ago moved out sister (which now is more or less a room where the boys keep the shelves of their games, books, DVDs and whatever else they own that I do not want to look at constantly) is not even connected to the cable system? It is for gaming only! The second of the three is not much better than the type my father once had and is situated in the cellar by Adam's gym equipment so he never misses one moment of news while he exercises? =pp (I do not think that telly has been switched off the news or sports in almost 5 years?) (Goodness, we do marry our parents don't we?) *disturbed for a moment* =|

The third of the three sits in our most used room of the house, the living room?

However, just recently, this third and trusted telly we use the most sort of coughed and sputtered! Suddenly Adam was forced to go to the cellar to watch any news and sports at all! Saint Charles had no reality TV on DVD to pass his bird flu time! I could not set Nemo on in my background while I ironed wash! XD Our lives were in upheaval! I suppose we do use the telly quite a bit, just not for what I suppose it really should be used for? =p Adam, after several days of dashing to the cellar to check Olympic things, and huddling about it for news, began to talk of buying a fourth television. I refused! Three already made me feel some odd guilt instilled by a childhood of telling me that telly was a waste of time. And for some reason no one could be bothered to disconnect the gaming telly from so terribly far up the stairs, so Charles, in a bored desperate sick bird flu daze, opened the broken thing and somehow mended it.

And it lived!

Until yesterday. D=

Having the boys lost up in Scotland to play Pretend Alex Heath Games, I have no handy Charles about to have a go at it again and tonight was too special to miss!

Not only is <strike>Supernatural</strike> The Jared Show on, but most importantly the live coverage of the Academy Awards! XD All night long! It is sort of like my Wintre Olympics with a completely different Heath? =D

First I attempted the obvious! But I was foiled! It appears that the cable no longer even goes up to the gaming telly anymore? =/ Most likely that was all turned around when we were doing the plumbing and reconstruction for the attic. OR one of the RPHs decided to do something interesting and did not bother to tell anyone how or what he did? The second idea was even more logical! Move the telly downstairs!

*stares at 3 gaming consoles, 100 cables, remotes, steering wheels, and other*

*does not want that unholy mess in the living room where it will undoubtedly end up the moment the boys come home and relocate their gaming fun*

So I did it! I went out and bought a television! XP I have never bought a television before in my life? For the first time I sort of wanted Adam about with his never ending and rather annoying knowledge of product placement and all that warranty business? Although it was fun to do it knowing he had no input at all. If you knew him at all you would know that he feels murdered by being left out of decisions (he considers) as momentous as these. =pppppp I felt some odd state of adulthood looking about at televisions! XD

Getting it out of the car and into the house required several stops and starts? XD I should have rang my sister to help me but I suppose I am stubborn. And a bit less stronger than I thought I was? =p

I almost put the broken telly in the garden just for affect when the boys came home? Like an animal head! Or a warning! XD However, that is a bit too chav for me so it is waiting by the front stairs instead.

So it is done! I have connected it successfully to everything and everything works! The cats enjoyed the box for bit and the dogs have approved of their favourite nature programme on it? =pp *plays nature programmes for them because they enjoy the sounds* =p

Now! One half an hour before my boyfriend's haunting show! Finally to be watched alone, as God intended. XD I believe it is a about someone who goes about killing others with a hook? That is all very well and nice but I just hope Jensen takes his shirt off. And then, after I have recovered from what I hope becomes shirtless, there will be through out the small hours of the morning, awards!!!!!! =D

And then the eventual return of Adam and the unescapable lecture on how I bought the wrong type of telly and why and how could you go and do that without even ringing me and OH NO its not the right way because of some silly reason and did you get a paper that says you can return it because if you didn't we will all die in flames and on and on and on. =D

Good Luck Heath! \ " /

*pom poms about*

Edit!
Well, no shirt removals to speak of AND I think I have even seen that one before? Saint Charles keeps downloading them from the internet and I have forgotten which I have seen and which I haven't! =p
Jared almost got the hand of preacher's <strike>son</strike> daughter. =ppppp I suppose Jensen in a fitted T shoveling will have to do for now. =PPPPPP

I am very behind on my flist! And mail! I think I shall wander through it this evening now that I have a house to myself and some silence! =)

I was sort of thinking about this since last week when my oldest sister's husband remarked on the civil union laws and off handedly said:

Well, now everyone who is married already can make that marriage a reality.

This has been a recurring theme of thought during the course of my adult life and the subject of gay people who get married? As a child I was very certain what marriage was, when it began, how it could end and what it meant? Obviously growing up and the relationship I ended up forces a person to knock everything they thought and believed on it's ear? But honestly, not all of it went right out of my mind.

The oddest thing I suppose is that sometimes the comments I overhear from most likely very well meaning people, or perhaps out of unknowing bias, are comments I have sometimes silently agreed with. To a point?

Comments like the one from a nice young mother at a baby shower several years ago that smiled very approvingly at Adam and I, and said, 'My goodness, how cute, you both even have rings!' It was mildly shocking to hear it but then the more I thought about it, I understood it? I sort of felt the identical way when a pair of Adam's very crunchy mates announced their 'marriage' of exchanging necklaces by an ocean and declared it by themselves?

It felt rather less legitimate. It sounded less important, or official or even serious? It sounded less than second best to a church, and the entire affair of year long planning, family gathering from across the world and on and on and on?

To a point, I understood that when I was 'married' we had done no more or less than the people with necklaces quoting the Rolling Stones? In the end, how much different was I actually from that hippy hetro couple that I considered silly and trite? That realisation was quite sobering that not only was I viewed much like they were by perhaps the world at large, but that my marriage was even considered less of a reality.

I also felt the same when homosexual couples I knew of announced they were married or referred to each other as husband when I knew even that small gesture of ceremony hadn't even been attempted? It disturbed me when they weren't together the next month or year and their 'marriage' just sort of dissolved with their feelings for each other. Was it if you just fancied yourself married, you just were?

I am, in all honesty, still not quite sure! XD

Adam suggested I take the religion out of it and ask myself the same question? I suppose that is where the little boy in me that sat in church and dreamt of a wedding one day, really cannot ever be told to go away? It is a union under God, and I think that is what makes it more special than announcing to the clouds, grass and Mick Jager that you have been married.

However, that is what makes it more special to me? If anything, maybe I have just learned over these years how personal marriage is to everyone who decides to enter one, in whichever form they have chosen? I suppose that your marriage becomes your reality whenever you sort of want one?

=/

=\

*taps ring on the keyboard*

Happy Valentine's Day to all of you that care about it? For those of you that do not, Happy Tuesday! =D

I am on my way to the finer stages of a flu thanks to Adam who decided it would be a wonderful idea to go horse back riding during one of the coldest nights of the year? =pppp *coughs about* I made him a very nice supper of very rare and disgusting marinated sirloin and all sorts of things he enjoys? Sadly, the Princess had to eat alone because I had to slither back into bed and expire.

He gave me a poem? =pp

I gave him a flower? =ppppPPPpPPPPPppPpPppppp

Honestly, this holiday is sort of nonsense to me but you have to pay to play! I have always wanted to say that! As if I would ever have to pay that boy to play.

I think these cold meds are going to my head.

heather_ladye has just told me that my boyfriend (Jared Padalecki) is supposedly 6 foot 4 inches tall? I do not think this is true. If Jensen Ackles is 6 foot and is not lying or adding an inch or two for show business, that would make Jared a bit taller than that? I am 6 foot 1 and Princess is 6 foot 4 and I do not look up at him (like Jensen does) like a bl**dy skyscraper? =ppp

That is all there is for it ladies?

How many of you out there are rather tallish or much shop for a tallish person?

=/

=\

Even though I am not extraordinarily tall I do at times having trouble finding the right trousers and usually almost always have them adjusted anyway?

Well, somehow Saint Charles, who is rather tall, has acquired (as in, he has no idea where they came from but they are suddenly in his wardrobe) a pair of track trousers that are actually too long on him. The thing is 1,92 so anything long him is rather long?

I first noticed him slithering about the house with them on as they are so completely too long that they cover his feet and then some? I told him to leave them by my machine so I could just hem them because the sight of them were driving me mad. =p So I caught him about to take the shears to them himself (no hem, just a trim, and to save time, he did not even take them off?) in his room and promptly removed them from his person. As I was ripping them off his body he explained that the staples he had used just did not seem to have worked. =|

I tossed them by my machine and as I am as I am, I completely forgot about them once again?

Then comes today! We all went, Adam, my sister and St Charles to the B & Q to look for some things we needed for our house and her flat. I did not notice until much too late that St Charles had taken the trousers off my machine pile and was now once again, wearing them but now this time, in broad daylight! We had already driven all they way there so there was not really much to be done about it. However! As he started to walk about he'd step on them so they were eventually down about his bum and boxer shorts like one of those chaps that thinks having your denims to your knees makes you look interesting. (And not like some sort of forgetful strange person who does not know how to operate a belt. For those of you out there that wear your denims about your bum and you are not in a band that requires it, I would like to ask you to just please stop? For me. For the children! And mostly, for yourself. *pats your hand and firmly yanks up your trousers*)

So after pointing this out to him several times and his abject refusal to go wait in the car when there were so many interesting pipes and things to play about with his brother, what I feared to happen, finally did.

Ignoring his over long trousers, he finally stumbled in them so badly that they were yanked down to his knees in front of several check out queues.

=|

The boxers remained brave and clung on with sheer will! Sort of.

Several peopled applauded. There were a few comments on off seasonal pants? (Christmas boxers) and there was even a concerned employee wondering, I am positive, if he should ask us to leave.

XD

*gives up and giggles*

This is what happens when no one will listen to me! That of course means to pack away some easily warmed food, leave a few tonnes of clean wash, and all of that so I do not come home to some sort of cob webbed skeletons laid about forlornly by the cooker. I am looking forward to seeing London again, despite it only being since the New Year? I am looking even more forward to making a bit to help pay the sister fund! =p (A house, 2 cars, 3 dogs, 1 octopus, 3 cats, 2 dependent sisters and 1 Mum who refuses to buy a new car only to keep mending the old!
Happy New Year! =D

I am sure I damaged myself with my party indulgences. Adam said I am like that brain that was left in that oven in that film and lost its 9. =p

I vaguely remember dancing to some odd remix collection of INXS songs and some extremely shirtless gym rat chap looking terribly like Fimmel (or was it all the martini?) asking me if I'd like to step out? X|

If you would really like to know one of marriages down sides there you have it.

The strike sort of made getting about a mess but to be honest I really did not mind as Michael's flat was in walking distance to all three parties we were attending. The last of which was supposed to be the best of the three but it turned out to the slowest instead so we escaped back to the second just in time for midnight!

And, I woke up WITH my shirt. =D (I tend to lose it during these binges.) But as predicted, I did also wake up in some odd pile with Michael in his bed. There is also a mysterious note in my own hand writing which says:

Remember the left face!

Surely I was trying to tell myself something. Maybe I am a Chinese spy! We spent the next day <strike>drinking tequila</strike> shopping! Then a few clubs later we discovered ourselves in another party where I met up with this pain in the bum I used to work with several years ago? He pretended to remember Michael and not me which was very much his catty little annoying style? =p Not to be outdone I pretended right back and then said, Oh! Goodness, it IS you. You look quite different. Have you gained weight or has a bit of surgery gone wrong?

I honestly thought he was going to jump on top of me and try to murder me with his cheap knock off Prada belt. However! The joke was apparently on me as he was with this bloke that he thought for some reason I had coveted at some point? When it was quite obvious either he nor I knew anything about each other my catty little mate was very crushed and flustered. He asked me about my 'Imaginary Husband' and I asked him about his 'Very Real Crabs' and then Michael and Catty's boyfriend had to step between us because then I was ready to choke him with his ugly belt. =p

Michael suggested that we leave after he had spotted over 2 exes in the crowd and we were also, by that time, quite pissed, so we went dancing until we were kicked out onto the streets. We went back to his flat, drank even more and watched some odd film about this man who wants to erase his ex-love from his mind? I do not recommend that confusing film when you've been at the bottle all day!

I slept in a bit and then made some breakfast for Michael who took one look at it before he dashed tragically to the bathroom. XD As Michael says, It is penance! I somehow avoided penance this year but I did have quite a throbbing headache all the while on the drive home.

It was very fun but it is nice to be home! Even though its a horrid mess. =p I think if Adam is ever left on his own completely he will turn into one of those odd animal hoarders that keep stacks of newspapers all over the place and boxes and boxes of rubbish up to the rafters. At least Saint Charles does the dishes and picks up a bit after himself!!!

*examines those morning after 'How and where on Earth did I do that?' party bruises*

Do you like my new icons? I made them myself. =p

After a lovely late supper of a very cold sliced apple, some very warm potato leek soup along with a fresh baguette and my very hot pot of cream tea, I am feeling much better!

*stretches and lays about next to the fire like a useless cat thing*

Myself: I regret to inform you that I have just had the best apple that has ever existed ever!

Adam: How do you know it was the best apple ever?

Myself: Because it was! I am very sorry you will never be able to experience it for yourself.

Adam: How do you know that I didn't have the best apple of all the world yesterday and I just left you the second best apple that has ever existed because it wasn't good enough for me?

Myself: That would be rude!

Adam: *points meaningfully at me* Profoundly so.

As Adam has been in a flurry to collect and hide away things of an adult nature from our upcoming guests, I have noticed something? His pain and reluctance to part with certain memorabilia is very much like my trials and tribulations in regards to slightly older but adored wardrobe. =p

Honestly he sat in anguish for over an hour over a pile of things that really should be thinned quite a bit? I knew I should have saved him the trouble by just not letting him have any choice at all. Choice freezes that man like a fear! I should have just tossed half it all out myself! I am a large fan of un clutter and tossing out anything (or donating it) that gets in the way? I know a few of you live with a 'Oh NO I cannot toss that out because one day maybe in a decade I shall need that type of screw/container/paper/bent staple desperately!!!!111'

=p

And today, through another sister, I was told that ANOTHER sister is seeing someone but does not want to tell me? =| And has been, for 3 months!! !!??!!!?????? I am afraid that as your only brother that all of this is my business whether you desire it or not? And furthermore, do not think I would not notice some strange man sitting at the Christmas supper next to you? =PPPPPppPPPPPp Although, this is rather exciting because Alice has been so unhappy and man hateful that this is a nice sign that maybe she is back on the road of sanity! Maybe she will even stop shaving her head and telling me all men should be shipped to the Sun? Besides me of course. =D

Does anyone over there in the States make a Christmas pudding? We have a tradition of soaking and dousing the thing in alcohol for weeks in advance? >< Adam has been cultivating it quite carefully. Last year it did a bit more burning than actual being a food of use for anyone? =p

Oh! I forgot to mention my excitement of the week? =p I knew I smelled something quite awful in the kitchen area? Adam kept insisting it was in my head after I had taken everything in and out of the cabinets three times? So then I was convinced it was something dead in the walls! It seemed to be by the garden door? (And no, although the half cooked burnt up sock I found in the oven did smell strange, it was not what I was looking for! *smacks Adam about with his sock*) So after being wedged soundly in the ventilation and then having to be twisted about and pulled free by Adam (=PPPP, my knee!), I finally found it!

In the garden closet! In a shoe! XP

A very dried mostly chewed and very unfortunate mouse. =/

I knew something was about!

*pats la Agony and la Ecstasy on the heads* Thank you but I'd rather a card next time?

I was given a link this morning belonging to that strain of LJer that posts it seems just to cause a war and 'debate' when there really is no debate at all. Debate does rarely exist on Live Journal? You can state your own little view in your very own little space and invariably, someone will appear to tell you how everything you think and say is incorrect. They just cannot help themselves. Your opinion is like a mountain! They must disagree because it is there! =p I used to say an opinion on LJ was as long as a commenter's lunch break?

However, this person's Lj I was directed towards is not quite that innocent, it seem quite clear they set it up for a sort of flame party to happen?

Anyway! That wonderful bit of human nature aside, there was (quite predictably) a link within one of their posts called:

Fun Stuff: Women Are the Worst Drivers!

Which linked to a site with photos of cars women supposedly have driven. There were cars stuck in Tube entrances, trees, the moon, what have you? Get it? Isn't that SO funny! Women are SO stupid! WHY DO we men let them behind the wheel? =D

I would like to take a moment to say to all the retro boring tired dated (did I mention BORING?) maschoistic nonsense is so utterly 1950's parlor humour that I cannot even understand why it is still remotely funny?

Not to mention, if you'd like to go down that road? How about a page of burnt up car wrecks and broken brick walls, and a motorway pile up because of MEN and BEER.
